Being Human is the story about the lives (or afterlives if you like), of three people living together in harmony, in rented accommodation, except these aren’t normal people, they happen to be a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire trying their best to deal with their supernatural problems at the same time as trying to simply fit in with everyone else. As the story progresses into season 2, we meet Kemp and Professor Jaggat. They are Christian fundementalists who have discovered the existence of ghosts, werewolves and vampires and have decided that they must either all be destroyed or experimented on.

Season four moves the story on and Annie and George have a new friend called Tom. They are all trying to come to terms with the fact that Mitchell was lost at the end of season 3 along with Tom’s father figure McNair. George has his own special grief to contend with as he also has to come to terms with the tragic death of Nina. We now have a ghost and two werewolves living together in an old bed & breakfast in a sleepy seaside town. They also have a new born baby to look after and the vampires to deal with.
