The Walking Dead – Season 2, Episode 11 – "Judge, Jury, Executioner" Recap Randall is in the barn with his hands tied behind his back and Daryl is interrogating him because he wants to know more about the group that Randall has been travelling with. He asks questions which are punctuated with repeated blows to the face. Through his crying and pleading, Randall tells what he knows, that the men in the group are heavily armed and that there are also women and children with them. He also tries to set himself apart from the other members of the group by saying he isn’t like them and reveals that the other men in the group had raped two teenage girls. The Walking Dead – Season 2, Episode 10 – "18 Miles Out" This week’s episode of The Walking Dead picks up at least a week after the young lad Randall got himself impaled on the fence. I say at least a week because we don’t see anything of the healing process for once and we dive straight in with Rick and Shane decide that they will take Randall at least 18 miles away from the farm and drop him off at the first relatively Walker free place they find in order to let him fend for himself. Touch – Season 1, Episode 1 – "Pilot" It’s possible that Kiefer Sutherland is trying his best to not get typecast as the action star which was definitely a danger after nine years of playing the anti-terrorist agent Jack Bauer in 24. If that is the case, then playing the part of Martin Bohm in touch is one way to do it as the part is so far removed from the Jack Bauer role that it isn’t even funny. In fact, in the first 15 minutes of the pilot episode of Touch, Martin Bohm manages to get himself beat up, something that wouldn’t have happened to Jack. Alcatraz – Season 1, Episode 1 – "Pilot" The pilot episode of Alcatraz, begins with a voiceover from Emerson Hauser who tells the story of the closure of the Alcatraz prison facility on 21st March, 1963 and the relocation of the inmates. He then goes on to say that things didn’t actually go the way they were supposed to. In all 302 men disappeared and they were never seen or heard from again. Now of course, nearly 50 years later, Alcatraz Island is a tourist destination and nature reserve. On one visit by tourists, a girl gets away from the organised tour and goes to look around on her own. Her screams bring the group running and they find a man lying on the floor in one of the cells. Fringe – Season 4, Episode 10, "Forced Perspective" A girl sits alone in Boston doing some sketch work on a pad. All of a sudden she stops what she is doing and starts a fresh sketch on a new page. When she has completed it, she walks over to a man in a suit and gives him the sketch and walks away. The man, Robert Englehart, confesses to his friend that he doesn’t know the girl. As they walk away, a girder breaks loose from nowhere and impales him. His friend looks at the piece of paper which shows a sketch of Englehart impaled by a girder. American Horror Story – Season 1, Episode 2, "Home Invasion" As we said in our synopsis of the pilot episode, moving to the old Victorian house in Los Angeles seemed like a good idea at the time and the Harmon family were looking to leave their problems back in Boston. However, their problems seem to be starting to increase. For example, Vivian is worried that there is something wrong with her new pregnancy because she has, as yet, failed to get morning sickness. Violet is also worried about her mum’s pregnancy but importantly she is worried that she is running out of targets for her nastiness. American Horror Story – Season 1, Episode 1, "Pilot" There seems to be a lot of talk all over the place, where people are revelling in the fact that the guys who created the smash US dance and song fest that is Glee could come up with something just as compelling but in a completely different genre, namely horror / fantasy. However, those people shouldn’t be that surprised as Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have form in other genres. For example, did you know they were also responsible for Nip / Tuck?
