Called "Pond Life", the five part story starts on the BBC YouTube channel on Monday 27th August and concludes with what Arthur Darvill describes as a "pretty mega cliffhanger" which leads into episode 1 of series 7 of Doctor Who which will be screened on BBC1 and BBC America on Saturday 1st September. As you probably know by now, the seventh (or 33rd depending upon how you look at it) and pivotal series of Doctor Who returns to UK screens on Saturday 1st September from 7.20pm on BBC1. What you may not have known is that BBC America are also screening it on the same day. The episode on the 1st September will be the first of a block of 5 episodes and they will run until 29th September. So, September is Doctor Who month! Captain Jack Signs Up for Arrow Arrow Show Notes Entertainment Weekly is reporting that John Barrowman, who played Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and its spin-off show Torchwood, has signed up for a recurring role on the CW show Arrow. Taking his part in the show’s debut season, Barrowman will play a "well-dressed man", who is "as mysterious as he is wealthy" according to the show’s producers. They added that "he is an acquaintance of the Queen family and is also a prominent figure in Starling City". Arrow debuts on the CW in the USA on October 10th and will air in the UK on Sky 1.
