| Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada on 31st January 1974, Anna Silk is an actress who is currently probably best known for a TV ad in Canada which is well on the way to achieving cult status. In the ad, Anna plays an over the top, angry, stressed out flight attendant called Deb who is trying to quit smoking. The ad is a for a brand of nicotine patch. |

| Anna graduated from St. Thomas University with a BA in 1997. She is the daughter of Ilkay Silk, who is a prominant actor, director, producer, playright and educator in Fredericton. |

| In November 1999, Anna moved to Toronto in an effort to further her acting career and subsequently moved to Los Angeles, where, in 2009 she landed the part of the charismatic Bo in the hit Canadian supernatural TV show Lost Girl. |
