| BBC Budget Cuts Force the Cancellation of The Fades |

The BBC warned quite a while ago that due to budget cut backs there would likely a cancellation of either Being Human, The Fades or Lip Service. Sure enough, Being Human and Lip Service have both been renewed and so consequently, the BBC have declined the option to renew The Fades for a second season.

It’s a shame really because The Fades showed quite some promise as it was well written, was well acted and even had relatively good ratings.

| The ending of the first season also left things open for a fantastic opening to the second season, with the proucers stating that they had at least a three season story arc to complete, but unfortunately, we will never know what became of Paul and his surviving Angelic friends |
