Heroes

Heroes is a character driven sci-fi / fantasy drama which takes a look at a number of ordinary people from all sorts of backgrounds around the world who find that they have super powers of one form or another. The series looks at how these powers affects the Heroes' lives. All of our Heroes have a different power that affects them in different ways. For example, there is one Hero called Matt Parkman who is a dyslexic cop. Matt finds himself able to hear other people's thoughts and consequently solves crimes that are baffling greater minds than his. And this causes him more trouble than a little in some cases.

Then there is Nathan Petrelli, who is a ruthless New York congressional candidate. Nathan is a nasty piece of work with a weakness for strippers and who also happens to be able to fly.
Niki Sanders is a sexy, down on her luck, single mom who has an alter ego in the form of her reflection who thinks that the application of violence solves everything. Another of our Heroes is Claire Bennett who is an otherwise normal hot blonde teenage cheerleader, who just happens to be invincible. No matter how much she gets mutilated, splatted or exploded she just refuses to die.
There are a number of other characters as well in Heroes, all with their very own special power. Are they all linked by something bigger than the individuals. Time will tell.....
