The Sandman – Bonus Episode on Netflix

As a pleasant surprise for all The Sandman fans, Netflix has dropped a surprise bonus episode onto the platform. The episode is actually split into two parts, the first of which is called A Dream of a Thousand Cats and is an animated episode directly adapted from the comic book story of the same name. It features the guest voice appearances of Sandra Oh, David Tennant, James McAvoy, Joe Lycett, Michael Sheen, Nonso Anozie and even The Sandman creator Neil Gaiman.

The second part is a live-action story called Calliope and also calls on the talents of several well-known actors including Arthur Darvill, Nina Wadia and Derek Jacobi.
